Pondicherry has total 3 Medical Colleges offering MBBS Course and accepting NEET UG as on June 2019 among these 3 Medical Colleges 1 is Government Medical College i.e Indira Gandhi Medical College & Research Institute and 2 are private Minority Medical Colleges and 1 is Private Non-Minority Medical College. In Pondicherry total number of 600 MBBS Seats available in all Medical Colleges, among these 600 MBBS Seats, 150 MBBS Seats available in Government Medical Colleges, 150 MBBS Seats available in private Non-Minority Medical College and 300 MBBS Seats available in Private Minority Medical Colleges. among these 150 MBBS Seats are in Government Medical College 22 MBBS Seats goes to Under All India 15% Quota, 106 MBBS Seats goes to State Government quota and 22 MBBS Seats goes to Under NRI Quota.
