Kerala has total 30 Medical Colleges offering MBBS Course and accepting NEET UG as on April 2022, among these 10 are Government Medical Colleges,9 are private Non Minority Medical Colleges and 10 are Private Minority Medical Colleges. Other than these 1 Deemed Medical College. In Kerala total 4155 MBBS Seats available. Among th 4155 MBBS Seats, 1555 MBBS Seats available in Government Medical Colleges, 2700 MBBS Seats available in Private Non-minority Medical Colleges and Private Minority Medical colleges. among these 1555 MBBS Seats in Government medical colleges, 132 MBBS seats goes to Under All India 15% Quota Seats, 256 MBBS Seats under Central government nominees and Special reservation categories and 977 MBBS Seats under State Government Quota Seats. Among 2700 MBBS Seats in Private Medical Colleges 1250 MBBS Seats goes to under state Government Quota, 875 MBBS Seats Goes to under Management Quota and 375 MBBS Seats goes to Under NRI Quota. Kerala has 150 MBBS Seats in one Deemed medical(Amrita school of Medicine, Ernakulam) College
All the seats at Minority College will be filled by the respective minority candidate and if particular Minority candidate is not available then the remaining seats will be filled by general candidates.
In Kerala Total number of 1,10,206 candidate appeared in NEET UG 2021 and 73,385 number of candidates qualified NEET UG 2021. So In Kerala NEET UG 2019 Qualified percentage is 66.59%.
