Kerala has total 36 Medical Colleges offering MBBS Course and accepting NEET UG as on April 2025, among these 14 are Government Medical Colleges, 9 are private Non Minority Medical Colleges and 13 are Private Minority Medical Colleges. Other than these 1 Deemed Medical College. In Kerala total 5405 MBBS Seats available. Among th 5405 MBBS Seats, 1855 MBBS Seats available in Government Medical Colleges, 3450 MBBS Seats available in Private Non-minority Medical Colleges and Private Minority Medical colleges. among these 1855 MBBS Seats in Government medical colleges, 277 MBBS seats goes to Under All India 15% Quota Seats and under Central government nominees and Special reservation categories and 1578 MBBS Seats under State Government Quota Seats. Among 3550 MBBS Seats in Private Medical Colleges 1775 MBBS Seats goes to under state Government Quota, 1243 MBBS Seats Goes to under Management Quota and 532 MBBS Seats goes to Under NRI Quota. Kerala has 150 MBBS Seats in one Deemed medical(Amrita school of Medicine, Ernakulam) College
All the seats at Minority College will be filled by the respective minority candidate and if particular Minority candidate is not available then the remaining seats will be filled by general candidates.
